We started doing rescue work years ago when we saw there was a huge need. Nothing bothers us more than breeders who do not take back their dogs or stand behind them. Dogs should NEVER end up in a shelter or rescue if bred by an ethical breeder. We have seen so many sad and heartbreaking stories and situations where families could no longer keep their dog, the breeder wouldn't take it back and many rescues/ shelters would not help. That encouraged us to step up. Our rescue dogs are under the same contract as our puppies or adults we place. If the family can no longer keep it it MUST be returned to us. No questions asked. We are very picky who we place ALL our dogs with and once a dog/ puppy comes to us it will always have a home here. We have not started a 501c3 for this. We do this out of our own pocket and desire to help. We have no vet teams or people backing this and that is just fine. This is what we want to do. When we do have one of our rescues available they will be posted on this page.
Bella, our oldest rescue has a grooming for the first time in her 9 years of life today. I can’t believe the difference. Bella is coming around. She is a bit of a whiner but very sweet. She doesn’t know a lot but isn’t mean at all. She has done well on our walks. She came with Naomi, a 7 year old black tri Aussie who I am in the middle of grooming as I type this. Their dad passed away sadly and the amazing family who took them in knew they needed more help than they could give them. I am so glad we had talked years before and again now! We truly have the best people around us. Anyways- both these girls will be looking for the best homes. We will be picky.
Lou the Aussie rescue came to soccer practice with us tonight. She did wonderful! Could not care about all the chaos. Was great with all the kids loving on her. She is a great girl! We believe she is under a year. She has no paperwork but we were told was current on all medical. She came to us all the way from Idaho! We are looking for that perfect home for her. Lou Lou came with Lou (above) we did not name them. She is very sweet, she is a bit more reserved but is coming out of her shell nicely. She like her sister did not come with any paperwork. She is under a year old.
Dante a 10 month old yellow lab. This guy is also very sweet. He is current on all medical. We will be working with him till we find him the perfect home!!
