Hi, Y'all.  Wandering Acres Ranch got its name because we were a military family who moved around a lot. Joel, recently got out of the army and now we are settled back in our home state of Washington!  We are a family ran farm. We have horses, cows, goats, pigs, chickens, bunnies, cats and dogs.  Besides the animal aspect we also love to garden and one day would love to have a bigger version of what we do now. We reside in Sedro Woolley, Wa. Our farm is what we do full time, for us this isn't just a hobby. We take everything we do extremely seriously and feel that to truly do this is something you can't just do on the side. Animals/ farming is a lot of hard work and time. We have devoted our life to it. 24/7, 365 days a year. We do not know what an off day is, family vacations do not exist. This isn't a 9-5 job where we clock out. Some times, we can't message or call someone back right away but that is because we are doing something on the farm. Eventually, we will be posting more on here about our other animals as well, for now we like to keep this website just for our dogs. 

 

We got into breeding Australian Shepherds after years of being around and having the breed. It took a long time for us to commit to breeding as it is something that should not be done lightly. Our dogs all help us out here on the farm and go on adventures with us. We also are very active in the show world. We show our dogs in confirmation and have also trialed our dogs on cattle, sheep and ducks. At the end of the day we want to have well rounded working, show and family dogs. We have a vision for our program and we are loving seeing it all come together.
